The four things you're wondering before you book a lost and found ad.

Answered below — for lost and found ads across 250+ newspapers. For anything else, the team replies on chat within 30 minutes, 24×7.

Will it reach the right audience? 03 QUESTIONS
What advertisers ask before booking a lost and found ad
Q. How many responses can I expect from a lost and found classified in your chosen paper?

Metro editions typically draw strong responses within 1–2 weeks. A display classified with photo gets roughly 3× the response of a text-only ad. Multi-edition bundles significantly expand reach.

Q. Should I run in multiple cities or just one?

For broad reach, multi-edition packages offer up to 90% savings versus booking cities individually. Bundle discounts apply automatically: 5% off 3+ editions, 10% off 5+, 15% off 8+.

Q. Is your chosen paper the right newspaper for lost and found ads?

your chosen paper reaches millions of daily readers across major cities. For lost and found classifieds, the dedicated section ensures your ad is seen by readers actively looking in that category.

What will it cost? 03 QUESTIONS
Rates, bundles and format-specific add-ons
Q. Why do rates vary between cities?

Rates reflect each edition's circulation and readership. High-circulation metros (Mumbai, Delhi) command premium rates because your ad reaches more readers. Smaller editions offer cost-effective reach.

Q. What's the cheapest way to run a multi-city lost and found classified?

Pre-built bundles save the most. Choose from National Selection (all editions), or smaller regional packages. Bundle discounts stack automatically at checkout — no coupon needed.

Q. Are there extra charges beyond the listed rate?

GST at 5% is the only addition. Enhancements like bold, border and tick mark are priced separately and shown live in the composer before you pay.

How do I write the ad? 03 QUESTIONS
Format, content and what to include
Q. How long can my lost and found classified be?

Classified text ads are priced per line (typically 5 lines minimum). Each additional line is charged at the per-line rate shown in the table. Display classifieds are priced by area (sq.cm).

Q. Can I add a photo or logo?

Yes — for Classified Display ads, photos and logos are supported. Upload a JPG or PNG in the composer. Photo classifieds get significantly higher response rates than text-only.

Q. What enhancements are available?

Tick mark, border, bold text and background tint are available as add-ons. Each is priced live in the composer — you see the total update before you confirm.

Will it print on time? 03 QUESTIONS
Deadlines, confirmation and editorial checks
Q. What's the booking deadline for your chosen paper?

Weekday classifieds require booking by 6 PM the previous day. Sunday editions close Friday 6 PM. The booking calendar shows available dates and highlights deadlines.

Q. How do I know my ad actually ran?

SMS confirmation is sent after the ad is processed. A tearsheet PDF (the actual page your ad appeared in) is emailed within 48 hours of publication.

Q. What if I need to cancel or change my booking?

Changes and cancellations are free up to 24 hours before the release date. Refunds are processed within 7 working days. Rescheduling to a later date is available at no extra charge.

Why advertise in Lost and Found,
at a glance.

Lost and Found classifieds remain one of India's most trusted channels — read by people in active search, across 250+ dailies — and the reason this site exists, since booking one used to take multiple phone calls.

Newspaper lost and found classifieds carry India's most-trusted reach for this section. Millions of readers scan the classifieds each week across the country's leading dailies — a section older than most online portals and significantly more trusted than either.

What sets a newspaper lost and found classified apart isn't reach alone. It's the intent of the reader: a family or business in active search, scanning a section kept on the table for the rest of the week. The sub-categories let your ad reach the precise segment you're looking for, without the noise of an unmoderated online portal.

The newspaper lost and found section is still the closest thing India has to a national notice board. Online portals match against profiles; the print classified matches against intent.
— Indian Print Classified Quarterly · 2024 review

And yet the booking has always been the friction.

Composing a lost and found ad used to mean copying a classified from last Sunday, calling a sub-agent for the rate, sending a faxed proof and waiting for confirmation. Rate cards were memorised by brokers and revealed to advertisers a phone call at a time. Multi-city bookings required separate calls to separate offices.

That's the problem this page exists to solve. We are an INS-accredited agent (No. 2087-A) and book lost and found ads directly into each newspaper's system at the published rate, with live preview in the exact print column width and bundle discounts auto-applied.
