A public notice exists to put the world on notice and create a dated public record — a lost document, a property claim, a tender, a company matter. Because it is a legal formality, the authority usually expects an established daily, so the paper and the precise wording carry more weight than the price.

A public notice is usually priced by ad size (per square centimetre), not by word — so the cost depends on how large the notice is, the paper and the city edition, plus 5% GST. A short notice in a regional paper can be a few hundred rupees; a large legal or company notice in a national daily runs much higher. Most notices have a minimum size, and beyond that you control it — a plain text notice is the smallest and cheapest; a boxed or larger notice costs more. If your authority hasn't specified a size, we'll suggest the smallest that reads clearly, which keeps the cost down.
