Everything you need to know about booking, writing, and releasing successful services advertisements.
Where the ad goes, what it costs, and what you are actually buying.
Under the classified services heading of the newspaper read in the area you serve. Pick that paper and the edition covering the area, tell us what you do, and the ad runs in that column — charged per line, so a short ad is cheap. If you serve several towns you can take several editions of the same paper on the same day.
Yes. The services column is deliberately broad — anything you sell as a service rather than a product can run in it, whether you are one person or a company. What decides the result is not the trade but the edition you choose and how clearly the ad says what you do and where you do it. We help with both.
Both. releaseMyAd is the INS-accredited online booking platform for 280+ dailies, so the newspaper space is booked here directly. Drafting and translation come free with the booking — send a line about what you do and we write the matter, trim it to the paper's line limit, set it in the paper's language and show you a proof before it prints.
Classified text is charged per line, so a short services ad is the cheapest option — the rate finder above shows the real figure for your paper and edition before you share anything, at official rates with a lowest-price guarantee. Classified display, which lets you add a logo, border or colour, is charged per sq.cm. Both are per insertion, plus 5% GST.
Classified text is words only under the services heading, and it is the cheapest way to find out whether that column brings you calls. Classified display sits on the same pages but carries your logo, a border and colour, so it earns its extra cost once you know the paper works for you. We quote both before you choose.
A services ad works on repetition more than most classifieds — most advertisers run it on the same day each week rather than once. Weekday insertions cost the same per line as weekend ones. Booking several insertions together is cheaper than booking each day separately, so tell us how many days you want before you pay.
No. Those post your ad on free online classified sites for listings or links. What you book here is space in a printed newspaper — a real insertion in a named paper, edition and date, with a published rate card behind it and the printed page as proof. If online listings are what you are after, this is not that product.
After publication you can view your ad in that paper's e-paper for the published date and edition, or buy a local copy from a newsstand. You also get a GST invoice for the booking. If something is wrong with the way it appeared, our team takes it up with the paper.
Book and pay online in minutes — UPI/QR, card, net-banking or NEFT/RTGS through a secure link. Most papers have a same-day or next-morning cut-off, so book before the cut-off and it runs the next day. We confirm the exact cut-off for your paper and edition before you pay.
Three things used to be hard: knowing the rate, composing the ad and picking the right release date. Here's what each looks like now.
